Fictions

The series “Fictions” sits at the border between photography and digital art. Fragments of photographs, that I took in different locations, are merged in one frame, like the pieces of a puzzle. The recognisable features of the architecture and landscape are reduced to basic geometric shapes and colours.
I chose not to capture a moment or a location in my photographs, but rather reverse this process.
The photographs are used as the main material to create a utopic, universal cityscape, which is free
from cultural patterns and human presence.
